As The 8th Year of Holiday Dreams, The Equity First Foundation Plans To Purchase Presents For 500 Families During The Holidays This Year

The holidays are a time for selflessness and giving back, which is why Equity First Foundation along with marketing agency – Idea Stream Marketing, are teaming up to present Holiday Dreams 2017. This program is dedicated to purchasing and giving presents to children who otherwise would receive very few if any, this year.

As the 8th year this program has been held, Holiday Dreams has been able to give hope back to an average of 200-250 families per year. These families are able to register through schools, churches, community programs, aftercare, shelters and more. To make this a more personalized experience, each registered family is interviewed and then a request list is created for each child. By spending a minimum of $100 on each child and purchasing gifts they requested, Holiday Dreams gives children and their family hope during the holidays.

This year is going to be bigger and better than ever. Holiday Dreams 2017 is projecting that around 500 families will be a part of the program this year due to their collaborative efforts with various additional agencies. These agencies include SASI – supporting individuals with disabilities and special needs, Angels of LI – a community outreach organization, Momma’s House – providing housing to young mothers and their children, Friends of Karen – supporting children that are critically ill, LI Council of Churches – bringing people together to better the community, Kid’s Clubhouse – after-school and summertime programs for families that cannot afford daycare, and many more. These are only some of the organizations that Holiday Dreams 2017 is working with to give hope to families in need, which is why they need your help.

The Holiday Dreams 2017 event will be held on Thursday, December 7th at the Venetian Yacht Club in Babylon. The event will start at 6 pm and go until 11 pm and will include Casino, Silent Auction, Photo Booth, DJ, Photographer and Video, Christine Montanti from Social Life Magazine as our host for the night, Steve Harper from K-Joy, Casino Prizes, Live Music, Comedian – Chris Monty, Party Favors and the last hour of the event will feature cordials and cigars.
